Jackie Barnes was born in East Tennessee but spent much of her early life in various states around the U.S. As a child, she appeared in several local commercials and acted extensively with the Bijou Children's Theater program in Knoxville, Tennessee. She appeared in several productions there, including “The Wizard of Oz” (with Wayne Wilcox!), “Steel Magnolias”, “The Lorax”, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”, and many more theater workshops and the Children’s Academy

of Arts and Sciences.

 

She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. These days she spends more time behind the scenes, helping Brooks run the entertainment company they own together, Lycan Entertainment. Her job descriptions within the company have been many and varied, but she believes in Brooks’ vision and will support him in any project he takes on. Unless it involves monkeys.
