David Keith was born in Knoxville, Tennessee where he currently resides. He owns a cattle ranch in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Theater. He also composed and performed the theme of The Curse (1987) and "Local Heroes" (1996). He is on the national advisory board for the National Association to Protect Children (www.protect.org) and lobbies on behalf
of stronger
penalties for
crimes against children.
