Amy is from middle Georgia and became an actor as a Junior at Mercer University after attending an intense weekend as an audience member at The Alabama Shakespeare Festival. She has been a professional actor for over ten years and has attended The National Shakespeare Conservatory, Atlanta Stage Combat Studio, and the graduate program at Northern Illinois University.

 

Amy has worked locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally

in commercials,

on stage, and in independent films based from Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Charlotte, and Knoxville. Her biggest claim to fame was to refuse a speaking role in a Shirley McClain film to shoot August 13, 1998...instead she gave birth to the beautiful Gracey Jo!

 

Amy and Joe also have a six year old son, Egan Patrick. Amy’s favorite creative time is spent singing with her husband’s original music…which is only elevated when the entire family joins. She is ecstatic about working with Brooks and wheeling around with the “boys” this summer
