Allison Varnes was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and graduated from the University of Tennessee with degrees in English, Theatre, and Cinema Studies.
During her college years, she wrote multiple screenplays, lived in the greenroom of the Clarence Brown Theatre, and stalked her now-agents until they agreed to represent her.
Post graduation, Allison worked as an assistant producer and
teacher while
moonlighting in
national commercials and independent film. This exposure eventually led to bigger parts in bigger projects.
When she’s not in front of the camera, Allison enjoys getting paid to boss other people around.
